The latest version of ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory Management Systems i.e. ISO/IEC 17025:2017 has been launched recently. The new structure is aligned with other existing ISO/IEC conformity standards and introduced concept of risk based thinking, performance based evaluation and emphasizes importance of process approach. The latest version expects laboratories to identify and address the Risk & Opportunities that could influence the performance of their laboratories. It also brings greater flexibility in the requirements of procedures, processes, documented information and organizational responsibility in comparison to the last version.  

The aim of the course is to provide a concerted and comprehensive training on development & implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Laboratory Management System (LMS) for building competence of all personnel who implement, maintain and improve laboratory activities in testing and calibration laboratories.

Considering above changes FICCI is pleased to announce four days training with main focus on following:

  • Resource Requirements

  • Process Requirements

  • Management Requirements

  • Internal Auditing

  • Steps of Implementation of LMS leading to accreditation

  • Discipline-wise specific criteria of NABL accreditation

  • Accreditation process of NABL

The program is scheduled on Apr 23 – 26, 2018 at Mumbai.

Learning Outcomes

  • After successful completion of course, the participants will be able to:

  • Outline key changes in ISO/IEC 17025:2107

  • Describe the process based approach of the standard

  • Understand new concepts and principles

  • Identify areas of risk as well as opportunities for improvement

  • Prepare to begin a review and update of their own management system document

  • Initiate and drive implementation of LMS in their laboratory in planned and effective manner

  • Conduct an effective gap analysis / internal audit / third party audit of LMS

Course Fee:

The course fee is Rs. 17,000/- plus GST @ 18% i.e. Rs. 20,060/- per participant
